Here is a selection of images of different bird species - both wild and captive.

Birds are a great subject to shoot. They have such a diverse array of shapes, colours and behaviours.

They can be a real challenge to shoot though - when on the wing they can be very fast moving and difficult to capture an image of. That just makes it all the more rewarding when you manage to get the shot though.
