I've always had a passion for photography and other forms of imaging. Most of my subject are biological or landscape based.

My background is in marine biology however, much like the first land-dwelling animals, my interests have hauled themselves out of the ocean and have extended to the wider terrestrial world.

I have travelled extensively round the world which has given me the chance to see some of the most amazing and exotic landscapes, habitats and species - from the foothills of the Himalayas to the cloud forests of Costa Rica.

Most of my imaging work is captured in digital format using either stills or video hardware.

MULTIMEDIA SKILLSET

Stills Photography/Design:

- In-depth knowledge of the use and functions of dSLR technology.

- Adobe Programs (CS3) - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom (V.2)

Video Shooting & Production:

- Handheld & tripod mounted DV & HD camera work and sound recording. Including use of tracking dollies, jibs and underwater videography.

- In-depth knowledge of Apple's Final Cut Express and Final Cut Studio editing packages (including Motion, Soundtrack Pro)

Web Design:

- Adobe Programs (CS3) - Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks.

Aside from photography, I'm a keen outdoors person; my particular passion is for surfing but I also enjoy rock climbing, snowboarding, hillwalking and other such exhilarating pastimes.
